Our Twitter followers have been proudly sharing photos of their flooring with us, and they have been going the extra mile to create something special for homes using our Camaro and Colonia ranges.
The beauty of luxury vinyl tiles is that a unique floor can be created by simply laying the planks or tiles in a pattern and using feature strips to make the design really stand out.
These installations really shows you the full potential of what can be done with luxury vinyl tiles and how much of an impact a professionally laid and well designed floor can make in even the smallest of kitchens, bathrooms and living spaces.
We’ve recently launched a Twitter competition where you can win £50 of high street vouchers for sharing your flooring with us. Take a snap, tweet your photo including our Twitter handle @Polyflorltd and the hashtag #polyflorandproud to enter the competition. Find out more here.
Thank you to everyone who has shared installation photos with us so far, keep them coming because we love to see them!
Here’s some of the best picture perfect installations we’ve been sent recently…
We are very excited to present you with our brand new innovative collection of interlocking vinyl tiles, Camaro Loc. Launched under the highly regarded Camaro Luxury Vinyl Tile brand, the Camaro Loc collection is practical and beautiful for use in all internal areas of the home including kitchens, bathrooms and living spaces.
The unique locking system eliminates the need for adhesion conveniently reducing installation time. Influenced by today’s home interior trends the collection of 15 popular wood and stone designs feature R10 slip resistance brilliant for preventing slips in the home, protecting you and your family.
To support the recommended installation methods for interlocking vinyl flooring such as Camaro Loc, we have also developed a new Vinyl Loc Underlay. Installed beneath interlocking vinyl flooring, Vinyl Loc Underlay is on hand to prevent planks becoming damaged and reduce impact noise by 19dB – great for keeping noise down between neighbouring rooms.
As you would expect from a range launched under the Camaro brand we have produced a beautiful new collection of installation photography presented in our brochure which is also available to view online:
As usual product samples, shadecards and copies of the brochure can be requested free of charge on our website or alternatively on the dedicated Polyflor Samples Hotline 0161 767 2551.
If you have any questions about Camaro Loc or any of our Polyflor At Home ranges feel free to get in touch via any of our social media sites or alternatively email the Polyflor Marketing team at firstname.lastname@example.org. We hope you enjoy browsing the new collection!
Due to the incredible demand we have seen from all our customers looking to create new ways to lay their Camaro flooring, we have created a brand new 44 page brochure packed full of high design flooring layouts.
We have called this supplement our CREATIVE EDGE and its is available to view onlinenow.
To help you to understand the complexity involved in creating each layout, each design floor is accompanied by a 1, 2 or 3 star rating. This easy to follow system illustrates the different installation options available from simply mixing wood and stone tiles together (1 star) through to detailed bespoke cut design floors (3 stars).
To order your free copy of the new Creative Edge brochure, or samples of any of the shades featured, contact the dedicated Polyflor Samples Hotline on 0161 767 2551, or visit the Polyflor at Home or Polyflor.com websites.
We are always on the lookout for fresh ideas and customer installations, so if you have recently had your flooring changed then please send us your photographs via Twitter at @Polyflorltd, post them on our Facebook page at Facebook.com/Polyflorltd or email them to email@example.com. We regularly upload our favourites onto our blog so you may even find your installations featured right here!
We know at Polyflor at Home that there are still common misconceptions with luxury vinyl tiles, however the Colonia and Camaro ranges have been developed to help you feel really at home, and offer highly authentic decoration representing natural elements while covering many of today’s trends. The designs, performance and attractive prices of our LVT products show the market and naysayers why there has been such a rapid increase in LVT flooring being chosen over the past 18 months, which is something that is showing no sign of stopping. To echo this, our customer installations have been pouring through our Twitter feed as usual this week, and we’ve spotted some lovely uses of LVT across people’s kitchens, hallways, living rooms, entrance halls and bathrooms. It’s great to see our flooring being laid within areas which demand high-end design, but at the same time, high performance and durability.
If our blog inspires you to choose Camaro or Colonia flooring for your home then what better way is there to get a feel for the flooring than taking advantage of our free sample service! Well it is official, the 2014 World Cup has kicked off and is well under way! Although England have not had the best start we’ve all enjoyed getting into the spirit of the tournament here at Polyflor at Home HQ; it’s been a great past week!
Now we don’t expect to see any Brazilian themed flooring installations to appear on the Polyflor twitter feed any time soon 😉 but we have really enjoyed what we have seen these past couple of weeks. We’ve had a range of Camaro and Colonia installations shared from our wonderful flooring contractors. One stand out installation includes a combination of Camaro wood and stone within a few living areas. However what is innovative and interesting is that the the wood has been laid at a 90° angle to create two separate areas within an open plan living space. Also, reverse colours have been utilised on the borders of the tiled areas which creates a stark contrast to the overall flooring, creating a fantastic overall design to the installation as a whole.
Another joy to see in this batch is the angle of the shots that have been taken. We love seeing close-up shots of the different finishes and textures.
As always, do carry on sending your shots through to us at @Polyflorltd or drop us an email to email@example.com, attaching your pics. We find them inspiring here at Polyflor at Home HQ and so do our customer base.
We are very excited to confirm that the first few months of 2014 have certainly continued where 2013 left off, resulting in more great looking customer projects. As usual, we have been collating many of the images of the Polyflor Colonia, Camaro & Secura collections kindly provided by our flooring installer and retailer friends via our Twitter account (twitter.com/polyflorltd), plus a few others showing Bevel Line, Expona and SimpLay have sneaked in there.
As you’ll see, the creativity continues to flow with the flooring designs, patterns and colours being selected to enhance the interior schemes. We particularly love the way many of the completed installations are specifically designed to suit the shape of the space, utilising inlay strips, perimeter surrounds and directional patterns to help create a truly unique and tailored floor design.
As always, we find sharing such imagery really helps our ever growing customer base to find a floor to suit their design vision, so keep them coming, we love receiving them. It’s not only our installation partners who can share their projects, we are also very excited to receive shots from the end users and it couldn’t be easier to do this. You can either send us a tweet to @Polyflorltd or drop us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, attaching your pics. Don’t worry, we are not looking for the perfect shot, digital photos from your phone, camera, iPad or any device are welcome. We have been known to send our favourites a little something for their trouble… hint, hint!
Anyway, we hope you enjoy this fresh batch of images and thanks again for those who take the time to send them in, we very much appreciate it.
Now that Christmas is behind us and everyone is settled into January, why not give your home a quick and easy facelift for 2014 with some of these Secura inspired installations. We’ve selected some of our favourites for you to try, so why not let us know how you get on.

It’s been a quick couple of months since our last customer installations post and, we must say, in that time people have certainly been busy specifying, purchasing and installing Polyflor flooring for their home. The usual top sellers are there which is always fantastic to see, and they are joined by some other really great projects. Customers are certainly getting to grips with the creative scope and floor design options on offer across our ranges.
Amongst many others, the black and white chevron-styled herringbone floor clearly stands out. This was inspired by the new photography within the new Expona Design & Commercial collection brochure; click here to view online.
The great thing about this is that inspiration can be taken from any of our commercial or domestic settings and interpreted into your own project and personal design concept.
Anyway, on we go with this fresh crop of images; we hope you enjoy these and they help you to think about your own space and how we can inspire you to transform it. (Remember, most of these images are taken by the installers, therefore the rooms are not fully dressed and often with work still in progress).
